Leaving a Review: Why It Matters More Than You Think

Think about the last time you picked a restaurant, a dentist or a plumber you'd never used before. Chances are you looked them up first and read what other people said.

Choosing a real estate agent works the same way, with one big difference: the stakes are much higher. For most families, a home is the biggest purchase or sale they will ever make. So before they pick up the phone, they read reviews.

That's why a short review from you, written in a couple of minutes from your couch, matters more than you might think.

Reviews help the next family make a big decision

When someone is relocating to Central Florida, they often don't know a single agent here. They're comparing names from hundreds of miles away, trying to figure out who will actually answer the phone, explain things clearly and look out for them.

Your review gives them something no ad can: a real story from a real person. "She helped us find a home in Davenport while we were still living in New Jersey" tells a relocating buyer far more than any marketing line.

The same goes for sellers. A homeowner in Kissimmee whose listing expired with another agent wants to know one thing: will this time be different? Hearing from someone who was in the same spot is what gives them the confidence to try again.

Reviews keep us honest (and help us get better)

We read every review. The kind words mean a lot, but the details matter just as much.

When a client mentions that our weekly updates kept them calm, we know to keep doing that. When someone says a part of the process felt confusing, we look at how to explain it better next time. Honest feedback, good or constructive, makes the experience better for everyone who comes after you.

Reviews matter to a local business

Be Infinite Group is a local team. We don't have a national ad budget behind us. Most of our business comes from referrals and from people who find us online and like what our past clients have to say.

Every review helps a small, local business show up when a neighbor searches for help buying or selling a home in Orlando, Polk or Osceola County. It's one of the simplest ways to support a local business you trust.

What makes a review truly helpful

You don't need to write a lot. A few honest sentences are perfect. If you're not sure what to say, here are some ideas:

What you were doing. Buying your first home, relocating, selling, downsizing, investing?

Where. The city or community helps people searching for that area, like Orlando, Kissimmee, Davenport or Poinciana.

What stood out. Communication, negotiation, local knowledge, patience, how a problem was handled.

How you felt at the end. Relieved, excited, confident, at home?

For example: "We relocated from out of state and bought in Davenport. Corinne walked us through every step on video calls, caught an issue during inspection, and made closing easy. We felt taken care of the whole time."

That's it. Specific beats long every time.

Where to leave it

Google is where most people look first when they search for an agent, so a Google review goes the furthest. It only takes a couple of minutes:

Open our review link: g.page/r/CQMQ7WuxfAJTEAI/review (https://g.page/r/CQMQ7WuxfAJTEAI/review)

Sign in to your Google account if asked.

Pick your star rating and write a few sentences.

Add a photo of your new home or your closing day if you like. Photos make reviews stand out.

Tap Post.

If you already left a review somewhere else, thank you. That helps too.

Common questions about leaving a review

Do I need a Google account?

Yes, Google asks you to sign in so reviews come from real people. If you have Gmail or an Android phone, you already have one.

Should I mention the price or my address?

No need. Keep personal details private. The city or community name and your experience are what help other people most.

Can I mention someone on the team by name?

Absolutely. If someone on our team helped you in a special way, such as the person who answered your questions in Spanish or kept your closing on track, say so. We love passing those compliments along.

Can I change it later?

Yes. You can edit or update your Google review anytime, for example after you've lived in the home for a while.

I bought or sold with you years ago. Is that okay?

Of course. A review doesn't have an expiration date.

Why we ask (and why we don't push)

You may notice that we ask for reviews after closing, not in the middle of a stressful week. That's on purpose. We'd rather you share how the whole experience felt, start to finish, once the boxes are unpacked.

We also never offer anything in exchange for a review. The value of a review comes from the fact that it's honest and freely given. That's exactly what makes it useful to the next family.

It's never too late

Some of our favorite reviews come from clients who closed a year or more ago. Maybe you've now hosted your first holiday in the house, finished the renovation, or watched your home's value grow. That perspective is valuable to someone just starting out.

And if your experience with us wasn't everything it should have been, we want to hear that too. Please reach out to us directly so we can make it right.

A sincere thank you

Every review, every referral and every "you have to call Corinne" means the world to our team. You trusted us with one of the biggest moments of your life. Sharing that experience helps another family feel the same confidence you did.
